How CELPIP Actually Scores Writing and Speaking
Unlike Listening and Reading, which are scored by computer, Writing and Speaking on the CELPIP-General Test are scored by trained raters. Per celpip.ca, each speaking response is rated by a minimum of three speaking raters and each writing response by a minimum of four writing raters, working independently of each other.
